1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MiklatMatch ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.

2. Description of Service

MiklatMatch is a community-driven platform for locating, reviewing, and sharing information about bomb shelters in Israel. Shelter data is sourced from OpenStreetMap, Israeli municipal datasets, and user contributions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current availability of any shelter listed.

3. Critical Safety Disclaimer

MiklatMatch and its operators accept no liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from reliance on information provided by this App during or outside of an emergency.

4. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information when registering.
• You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account.

5. User-Submitted Content

By submitting reviews, shelter information, photos, or status reports, you:

• Confirm the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• Grant MiklatMatch a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, store, and moderate your content.
• Agree not to submit false, misleading, harmful, offensive, or private information about others.
• Accept that submitted content may be reviewed by moderators and may be removed if it violates these Terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false shelter data, fake reviews, or misleading status reports
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post content containing profanity, hate speech, or sexual material
• Share personal contact information in reviews
• Use automated tools to scrape, spam, or abuse the platform
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access controls

7. Red-Alert Notifications

Push notification alerts are based on data from the Israel Home Front Command (Pikud HaOref) public API. MiklatMatch relays this data in good faith but cannot guarantee delivery speed, accuracy, or completeness of alert notifications. Do not rely on app notifications as your sole source of emergency alerts — ensure you have an independent means of receiving siren alerts.

8. Intellectual Property

The MiklatMatch name, logo, and original content are owned by MiklatMatch. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL license). User-contributed shelter data and reviews remain the property of their authors.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Israeli law, MiklatMatch and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App, including but not limited to: physical injury, property damage, data loss, or reliance on shelter information.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via the App or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
